The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
The movie fit in with the series well. but do not expect the clarity that you found in the first movie.
it was clear that the writer made sure that you got as many references to the originals as possible. A bit too many.
The war that started this is referenced a lot, but not explained again. The map used did not seam to fit.
The story of Cornelius was well done and the actor did a very good job.
The songbirds character was not grounded well and motivations moved around too much. the singing was good but the lyrics were not always clear which would have helped the feel.
The movie was clear on the Hate/Need of the games themselves.
Rating - Bargain price cinema or pay for streaming
